ABSTRACT
This lighting design project aims to create an energy-efficient and aesthetically pleasing lighting scheme for a residential home using DIALux software. The project involved analyzing the architectural plans and layout of the house, identifying the different lighting needs of each room, and selecting appropriate luminaires and light sources to meet those requirements. The design also takes into consideration factors such as the color temperature, color rendering index, and the distribution of light to achieve the desired visual effect. Through the use of DIALux, various lighting scenarios were created, allowing for easy comparison and evaluation of different options. The final design successfully balances functionality, comfort, and energy efficiency, providing optimal lighting solutions for each room in the house while minimizing energy consumption and reducing the environmental impact of the lighting system.
