ABSTRACT
This project named Automatic Water-Pump System involves the construction and study of the automatically operated water pumping mechanism by comparing the level of water in the tank as well as the reservoir. This project’s aim is to reduce the human effort by automatically checking the level of water in the overhead tank as well as the reservoir and automatically pumping water. And also to save the water from being wasted by continuous running of the motor even after the overhead tank has been filled. It also involves the study and selection of various components used in the project designing such as; different gates, diodes, transistor etc. The various water levels of the tank and the reservoir are compared by the logic gates and the water is pumped when the water level in the overhead tank drops below critical level and the water level in the reservoir are at pumpable level.
