Load Flow Analysis of Power Grid of Province 1, Nepal

ABSTRACT
The power grid model was created, the model created was of 132KV, 220KV and 400KV networks. ETAP was used as software to create a power grid for the Province assigned. All the existing and under-construction substations, lines, and generations were taken into consideration while developing the power grid network. Load-flow analysis was performed for the system using the model developed. The flow analysis was also calculated for the system using the model developed. Similarly, Voltage levels at each bus and the line losses were calculated. In some cases, the planned substations, lines and generations were taken into consideration and studied their impact on the system. The data were obtained from NEA’s recent annual report or Transmission System Development Plan by Rashtriya Prasaran Grid Company Limited and related literature.
